On the Ledge

So I haven't posted in a while, but I'm going to try and post more often... I have a really busy schedule this quarter but I want to make time for photography.
Anyways, I took some self-portraits last night on the roof right below my window, it's a pretty cool spot :] Can't believe all I have to do to get out there is take off the screen... my school really didn't think that through, but I'm not complaining!

I'm not very good at photoshop, but I'm trying to learn how to edit my photos better so any tips would be greatly appreciated. And constructive criticism on aspects besides editing would also be helpful. Thanks for checking my blog out!

New Dress

Last week I bought some new clothes and there's nothing like a cute new dress to inspire a photo shoot so I went out and took pictures even though it was cold, overcast and windy. I really like the photos I got though so it was worth it and I love my new dress :]
I just realized as I uploaded these that the majority of them are vertical lol oh well, enjoy!

I edited all of these just a little bit on photoshop and used the settings for the first picture on all of them, so they wouldn't all look different! I don't know if that was a good idea or not, but I think it's better than what I've been doing. And then for the last photo, which had different lighting and scenery I edited differently.

Goodbye, XTi

These are some of the last pictures I took with my Canon XTi before I sold it to a friend so I could purchase a Canon T2i which I now have and love :] Anyways I'm not the best at editing and I'm not too consistent either between the images, but these were some of my favorites from the shoot.
